Legend of Sangkuriang
one time, there was a kingdom in Priangan Land. Lived a joyous family. They were a father in form of dog,his title is Tumang, a mother which was called is Dayang Sumbi, and a progeny which was called Sangkuriang.
One day, Dayang Sumbi inquired her child to proceed hunting with his beautiful dog, Tumang. After searching all day, Sangkuriang began desperate and concerned because he hunted no deer. Then he considered to shot his own dog. Then he took the dog liver and conveyed home.
shortly Dayang Sumbi found out that it was not deer lever but Tumang's, his own dog. So, She was very furious and strike Sangkuriang's head. In that occurrence, Sangkuriang got hurt and scar then cast away from their home.
Years proceed farewell, Sangkuriang had travel numerous places and eventually arrived at a town. He met a beautiful woman and sensed in love with her. When they were considering their marriage designs, The woman looked at the wound in Sangkuriang's head. It agreed to her son's wound who had left severall years previous. shortly she realized that she sensed in love with her own son.
She couldn't marry him but how to state it. Then, she discovered the way. She required a lagoon and a vessel for celebrating their wedding day. Sangkuriang had to make them in one night. He constructed a lagoon. With a dawn just moment away and the vessel was almost complete. Dayang Sumbi had to halt it. Then, she lit up the eastern horizon with blinks of lightweight.
